Werewolf: The Savage Age - Revenge of the Werebear.

One of my favorite pieces from the Savage Age series, both visually and creatively.
The original idea was spirits watching over a Werebear after a battle.
I thought the idea of a Werebear finding revenge for his fallen family was a stronger story point than just random spirits and warriors, so I went with it.
Artistically I just challenged myself; took more time, tried more experiments with style and design, etc.
I think it turned out pretty well.

Original sketch.
Spirits were still just an idea.

Base character inks, me having fun.

Finished inks. Background was in flux, I knew what I wanted and where things had to go, but specifics were held up by the spirits idea I had.

Final gray scale piece.
All the ideas have come together. Very happy with it.
